Summary: Podfic for fitz_y's amazing story Out of the Ashes: Part I: Dreamsweepers, or more simply Dreamsweepers.
Artist's notes: Doing the podfic for this fic was really and honestly amazing. The world of this fic is so immersive, and the characters are so compelling, that from the moment I saw the summary I was already in love with this piece. As such, this podfic is all but an affair with the story, and I only hope that it does half justice to the fic itself.

Due to technical difficulties, it is proving difficult to upload the later parts of the recording. They will be added as my computer decides to behave itself!

The sites currently being used for hosting are temporary. I hope to move them to a more permanent archive within the next two weeks.

OMG I'm sitting down to listen to this carefully in its entirety now. And everything about it is just absolutely perfect. Eeeeeee. Your Morgause voice is so sexy and confident, it makes me squee every time I hear it!! And Morgana's voice has such a range of emotion. You deal with my ridiculous long sentences so gorgeously, giving them shape. The whole narrative just flows and has so much life to it. This page unfortunately needs updating; I'm sorry to say that the rest of the podfic is currently lost, and I'm not sure that it will be recoverable. My father passed away a couple of months after this posting, and in the ensuing months many things happened, including a change in my computer.

My voice has also changed somewhat in the last three years, so I'm not sure if re-recording would be an option, but... it might be something that I would try.

In any case, I can only apologise. I didn't get the podfic up in time, and life overtook me.

Oh, gosh, I'm so sorry to hear that. And, of course, such data storage SNAFU are something everyone can understand. I was once possibly the award winner for lag time between creation and finalization/publication (before I gave up on the latter entirely, ahahaha), so the number of works I've had dissolve on me due to hard drive wipes or other such meltdowns makes me want to tear my hair out.

No worries, just know that there's definitely at least ~something of an interested audience for (this or other) femslash podfic out there on the interwebs, if we aren't exactly legion.
